Avoid
v1.00 Make your start button avoid your mouse!
Anti-Virus
2000 Anti-Virus 2000 is a free prank program that masquerades as a
legitimate -- but not very convincing -- anti-virus utility. When the user runs
the program, it detects a "virus" almost immediately, and of course,
the only way to recover from it is to have the user's hard disk formatted. The
program proceeds to do that.
Nap
and Coffee v2.0 Nap and Coffee is an ingenious way to create an excuse to
get away from your workstation. It displays one of three realistic windows that
makes it look like your computer is installing a new application, testing the
surface of your hard disk, performing a virus scan, or executing another
time-consuming task.
FunFormat
Screen Saver v1.01 Play a cruel joke on a friend with the FunFormat Screen
Saver. When this free monitor protector kicks in on an associate's PC, it
displays a highly realistic disk formatting box that shows the user's C: drive
being formatted. When your friend tries to close the program, an error message
about the operating system missing pops up. Of course, the whole thing is
harmless -- except maybe to your friendship.

convert your PC into MAC OS 8. You will be faced with many errors and encounter
many fake problems as you try to survive your encounter with the Macintosh

Game
Of The Century The best pranks are the scariest ones -- and this one is
definitely frightening. When "gameofthecentury.exe" is run, a
"Please wait -- Initializing" box is displayed. A few moments later, a
realistic-looking double-paned Explorer window pops up showing the contents of
your Windows folder. You're asked if you wish to delete its contents. No matter
how you respond, files begin to be "deleted." Then, all the files on
your C: drive are erased (or so you think). Finally, what looks like the Windows
shutdown dialog is displayed with a warning that no system files are found on
your computer. Luckily, a message pops up asking you if you're glad that
"this is just a game" and showing you an ad for Telstar's Virus game.
This one might even fool a grizzled power user. Now, if we can just get our
heart to restart
Start
Movingv1.0-
Start Moving is an odd little program that causes your Start button to start
dancing to the right on your taskbar. You can set the speed and the steps
involved in the movement. Just click on Start, and it slowly slides to the right
on your taskbar. You can click Reset to put it back.
ManagerLitev1.04

message (error, warning, informational, or confirmation), and add buttons (Yes,
No, OK, Cancel, Help, and/or others).
Special
Occasion Fax v2.0
Special Occasion Fax gives the illusion of sending a fax to people, even though
they don't have a fax machine.
Ghost
Surfer
What it does is "automatically" surf the Web, using a plain text file
containing Web addresses; there's a file of over 2000 sites included or you can
create your own list of favorite sites. Ghost Surfer then actually types in
those address in your browser and visits the site, making random clicks for
awhile until it enters a new address and you're off to another site. You can use
it as a prank, as a screensaver (if you're online), or as a way to keep your
Internet connection live while you're away from the computer.
The
Finger Prank Launch this free prank program on your unsuspecting victim and
watch their reaction when the Windows cursor changes to a rude gesture that

Bomb
Crash Alert Gag This joke program simulates the Windows 95 "program
crash" dialog box. And it's difficult to tell that it's a fake! It's easy
to use and there is no setup/install involved. Just copy the program to
someone's machine and run it.
Down
Load Hoax This nifty, free prank program makes it realistically appear as
though an unwanted file is being downloaded from the Net. Down Load Hoax
randomly chooses a site from its internal database of "undesirables,"
and proceeds to simulate downloading an equally distasteful file.
CSBAG
CSBAG (Customizable "Slithering Button" Application Generator) lets
you create your own joke application in which the desired choice button
"slithers" away from the user. It comes configured with an
"Intelligence Test" that asks you if you know how to operate a Windows
mouse. As you try to push the "Yes," "Unsure," or
"Duh" buttons, they keep running away from your mouse cursor. The only
button that will work is "No." You can customize the program's buttons
and text.
Black
Screen This free program will cause your victims' screen to go black or
capture the desktop & display a bitmap image. The victim of your prank will
then be unable to close the screen without a password. purposes.

to toggle and how often they'll be toggled.
